Privacy notes

Data protection

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Therefore we process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (DSGVO, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within our website.

The use of our website is usually possible without providing personal information. As far as on our sides personal data (for example name, address or E-Mail addresses) are concerned, this takes place, as far as possible, always on voluntary basis. Data in question will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent.

Please note that data transmission over the Internet (for example, when communicating via e-mail) may have security vulnerabilities. A complete protection of the data by third party is not possible.

Data processing on this website

When you visit multitrans.net, information is automatically transmitted through your browser. These are browser type and version, operating under the so-called referrer URL (the previously visited page when calling multitrans.net via a hyperlink), the IP address of your system and the date and time of page retrieval. This data is not assignable to specific persons for the provider of this website. The collection and merging of this data with other data sources will not take place.

The collected data is for the anonymous evaluation of user behavior with the aim of improving the website. For example, frequently visited pages that contain particularly interesting content can be better linked so that they are easier to reach. An individual analysis of the user behavior does not take place.

Cookies

The internet pages mostly use cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and stored by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally exclude and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Google Maps

This website uses the map service of Google Inc. ("Google") to display interactive maps. When you use Google Maps, the information that you are using the web page, including your IP address, is sent to a Google server in the US, where it is stored. Although Google has signed the Safe Harbor agreement which obliges Google to respect the data privacy rules valid in the EU, transferring data to the US presents a privacy risk. This is why you have the possibility of deactivating the Google Maps service and preventing data from being transferred to Google: to do this, deactivate JavaScript in your browser. Note, however, that by doing so you will be unable to use the maps features.

Contradicting advertising emails

In the context of imprint obligations, personal contact information for the purpose of sending/receiving unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby rejected. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.

Matomo

This website uses the open-source software tool Matomo (formerly Piwik) to statistically evaluate visitor behaviour. Matomo saves text files, called »cookies«, onto your computer which enable it to analyse how you use the website. The »session cookies« are text files which are saved temporarily on your computer and are deleted as soon as you close your web browser. The information generated by the cookie about your usage of our online service is then stored on the server of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. The collected data is not shared with third-parties and only allows us to identify and improve the relevant website content.

The IP address is immediately anonymised as soon as it is processed and saved. Matomo is configured as recommended by the Independent State Centre for Data Protection (ULD) and complies with all current data protection regulations.

In using this website, you hereby consent to have Matomo collect and process your data in the manner and for the purpose described above. You can prevent cookies from being set by changing the settings in your browser or unticking the following box to activate the opt-out plug-in.
